 Session Series drums share many features of the Masters Series including superior quality lacquered finishes, OptiMount suspension system, and SP-30 telescoping bass drum spurs.

All Session Series drums are formed using Pearl’s exclusive Heat/Compression Shell Molding System that employs high temperatures and pressure to create the strongest and most resonant shells in the world. All Pearl shells feature overlapping seams with no gaps thus allowing the shells to vibrate uniformly, unencumbered by air pockets, for superior tone and sonic purity.

Session (14"x5.5" and 14"x6.5") 6 ply 100% maple and birch snare drums offer professional components including SuperHoop II, NCL-55/NCL-65 lugs with brass swivel nuts, SR-017 vertical pull strainer, and S-022N snares, creating a sound that completes and unifies the overall tone of the entire kit.

Session Series components all feature low-mass designed lugs and Masterworks-style rubber gaskets for enhanced unrestricted shell vibration providing even full-bodied tone. All mounted toms come equipped with our OptiMount suspension tom mounting system that removes the hardware from the shell for increased resonance and sustain. Floor toms feature the R-40 "Air Suspension" rubber tips on all legs that act to "float" the drum to dramatically lengthen sustain for unrestricted bottom-end response. The Session Series toms, and floor toms also feature SuperHoop II rims for accurate precise tuning and open tonal clarity.

Two-ply ProTone top heads on Session Series toms offer a wide spectrum tone with unsurpassed durability. Perimeter EQ heads are standard for "out of the box" ready to play tone on bass drums. The Protone coated snare head has just the right balance of attack and tone for all dynamic levels.

Session Series drums are available in shell packs or components.


Warranty Information
Hardware: Pearl stands and pedals are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from date of original purchase.

Shells: Wood shells are guaranteed against  material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of three (3) years from date of original purchase.
