Kitty - Mindless Self Indulgence

Since the September 11th, 07 release of their first ever DVD, "Our Pain, Your Gain", Mindless Self Indulgence have been topping the Billboard Dance Charts, preparing for their European tour, and readying the as-yet-untitled-follow-up to 2005's "You'll Rebel To Anything" (currently scheduled to be released sometime in early 2008).

Since 1997, this co-ed electronic/punk rock band has been storming the electronic and punk scenes sweeping up many hardcore fans in its wake with its music and incendiary live performances. They have released five full-length albums and a number of EPs and remixes.

The band's music is influenced by early 1980s culture. It frequently contains samples of early 80's hip-hop or rock, as well as Atari-style beeps and tones. Their second album as a band, 1999's "Tight", was mixed on Atari-style equipment.

They have opened for a number of mainstream acts, including System of a Down, Korn, Staind, Sum 41, Mushroomhead, Insane Clown Posse, and Rammstein. They have also played many large musical festivals including Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans in October of 2003, as well as headlining the Mojave tent at the 2004 Coachella Festival. They also recently headlined the "Revolution Stage" for The Projekt Revolution Tour.

The band plans on headling and supporting My Chemical Romance on a European tour in the fall and winter months of 2007.
