David Osmond

David is the son of oldest Osmond Brother, Virl. David's first drum lesson was from famed drummer and uncle, Jay Osmond. David has since gone on to become quite a fantastic drummer. David went to Branson, Missouri to join the band at the Osmond Family Theater in September of 1998, and he quickly found himself to be the leader of the band, which was re-named the "David Osmond Band." Prior to his going to Branson, David was a session drummer in Utah, played in jazz and society performances, was a pit drummer, and performed in the Utah Shakespearean Fest in 1996 and 1997.

When his uncles, Wayne, Merrill and Jay began their road tour in June 2000, David took to the road with them, and became their production/road manager. He has backed up the brothers vocally, and plays drums on their latest CD's - "Gospel Favorites by The Osmonds," "The Osmonds - Christmas Memories," and recently released, "The Osmond Brothers - Back On The Road Again LIVE." David is also Executive Producer of the Osmond Brothers' new LIVE CD.

In June 2001, he began to step away from behind the drums for a few numbers, and join his uncles center stage for some of that famous Osmond four-part harmony.

David has quickly found a fan following of his own, and has a striking resemblance to his uncle, Donny Osmond. This goes over quite well with the younger members of the audiences!

David hopes to stay in the entertainment field, and diversify into performance and production...and said David; "I will NEVER give up my drums!"
