The band's debut single "Murder" was #1 for seven weeks straight at Active Rock radio as well as #2 at Modern Rock radio. The band's single, "Scars," added to the buzz by emerging as #1 Most Added on the Modern Rock, Active Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. Once it was added to play lists, it moved to the top of the charts.

Formed in Northern California in 1993, Papa Roach is comprised of Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Dave Buckner, and Tobin Esperance. They made their recording debut with the 1994 EP "Potatoes For Christmas" followed by their full-length debut "Old Friends From Young Years" and two more indie EP's. When they released their second full-length CD "Infest" in 2000, all hell broke loose. The album went triple-platinum, powered by the mega-hit single "Last Resort." With their 2002 CD, "lovehatetragedy," the band scored a #2 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and a coveted slot on Eminem's Anger Management Tour.
