Adams Chimes Assembly Instructions

ENGLISH

1. Attach the pedal crossbar (1) between the two ADAMS wheel castings (2). Caution! Be sure to tighten the wing-screws onto both ends of the pedal crossbar (1).
2. Take both sidetubes (4) and insert them into the ADAMS wheel castings (2). Tighten the wing screws.
3. Slide the damping system (5) over the side tubes (4) and attach the damper pedal rod (6) to the damping system (5), then attach the cross brace (3) to its receiving hole on the damping system (5).
4. Slide the hanger assembly (7) over the top of the side tubes (6). Note: this assembly is held in place by gravity and the weight of the tubular chimes.
5. Attach the cross brace (3) to the left ADAMS wheel casting (2).
6. Hang the tubular chimes onto the frame.

1. Montier die Zwischenstange (1) zwischen die FuB Stucken (2).
   Achtung! Die Flügel schrauben müssen fest angedreht werden in die Löcher an die AuBenseiten des Stanges (1).
2. Nimm die Seitenröhre (4) und schieb diesse in die FuB Stucken (2).
   Dreh die Flügelschrauben an.
3. Schieb das Dämpfsystem (5) über die Seiten röhren (4). Montier die Pedalstange (6) an das Dämpfersystem (5).
   Montier die Querstange (3) unten an das Dämpfsystem.
4. Schieb das Aufhängungssystem für die Röhren (7) über die Seitenröhren (4).
5. Montier die Querstange (3) an das linken FuBstück (2).
6. Hange die Röhren in das Gestell.

Note: You can adjust the level of the chime frame as desired, so that your chime tubes hang directly in the center of their holes. This can be a necessity when performing on a tilted stage or an uneven surface. To do this, simply unscrew handle (A) and turn the disk at the top of the wheel (B) left or right, in order to raise or lower any of the four wheels stems.You can also utilize your sustain knob (8) in order to lock the damper pedal in the "down" position. This will allow the chimes to ring free until you disengage the sustain knob. Simply press your damper pedal down and push down on the sustain knob (8). You can disengage the sustain knob (8) by pressing the damper down a second time. Achtung!! Wenn das Röhrenglockenspiel völling montiert ist, aber die Glocken hängen nicht genau in der Mitte der Löcher des Dämpfungssystems dan ist das abzuheifen durch die höhe der Radern zu verstellen. Um dieB zu machen muB. 1. der Handgriff (A) los-gedreht werden. 2. die Scheibe oben auf dem Rad (B) nach Links oder Rechts drehen. (DaG Röhrenglockenspiel geht dann an die Seite höher oder tiefer).
