    Adams Voyager Frame Assembly Instructions -for Artists, Concert, and Soloist Series Mallet Instruments

  1. Connect middle connection rods.
  2. Insert wheel legs into height adjustment. (Artists Series - locking wheels should be on audience side, non-locking wheels on player side.)
  3. Connect all four angle supports to wheel legs.
  4. Insert Y bars into height adjustment. (Loosen butterfly wing screws, turn handles clockwise to raise or counter clockwise to lower until desired height is achieved. Tighten butterfly wing screws.)
  5. Attach large and small end pieces to Y bars.
  6. Insert rails #2 and #3 into end pieces (Rail #1 is closest to player). (If applicable, connect rails at middle point via the rail support/stabilizer pin.)
  7. Concert/Soloist - unfold resonators, clamp at mid point using attached clamp, and insert into resonator slots on end pieces. Lower resonator setting is for normal temperature environments. Higher resonator setting is for warmer temperatures - i.e. outdoors in the summer.
    Artists 4.3 - unfold resonators, clamp at mid point using attached clamp, attach H bracket to low end, and insert into resonator slots on end pieces.
    Artist 4.6 & 5.0 - unfold resonators, clamp at mid point using attached clamp, attach bass ends-be sure bottom resonator slides into lower rubber slot, and insert into resonator slots on end pieces.
  8. Insert rails #1 and #4 into end pieces. (If applicable, connect rails #1/#2 and #3/#4 at middle point via the rail support /stabilizer pin.)
  9. Apply natural bars. Connect end springs.
  10. Apply accidental bars. Connect end springs.
  11. Tighten all wing screws. Similarly, periodically, check wing screws are tight.
  12. Height Adjustment Operation: loosen butterfly wing screw, turn handle clockwise to raise or counter clockwise to lower until desired height is achieved. Tighten butterfly wing screw.
  13. Enjoy your new instrument!
