DCI Individual and Ensemble Contest7/26/2010Pearl Drum Corps members dominate at the 2010 DCI Individual and Ensemble Competition!!!

On July 24th and 25th, DCI held its annual Individual and Ensemble Competition in San Antonio, TX as part of the DCI Southwestern Premier Event.  Many of the participants and winners of this competition use Pearl and Adams products.

Pearl Drum Corps dominated the Individual Snare Drum Competition representing 11 of the 12 participants including the winner, Andrew Odello of the Blue Devils with a score of 97.5 Let it be known that Andrew’s score was the highest score of the competition within all captions!!! The Blue Devils also took the top spots in other captions including: Scott Nelson first place honors in Multi-Tenor with a score of 95. Jimmy Marshall earned top marks in Multi-Percussion with a score of 96.5. Michael Howard won the Timpani competition with a score of 91. Members of the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps took 1st place in the captions of: Bass Drum Ensemble with a score of 95, Percussion Ensemble with a score of 90.5 and Mark Coup in the Individual Keyboard with a score of 91.5.
