System Blue Live Events
System Blue Live Events7/23/2010Huge success with System Blue Live Events!!!To date, the System Blue Live Events have served nearly 300 students and band directors at 4 events:

Shawn Glyde Drum School at Fresno State
Trumpet Skills Camp at Fresno State
SoCal Skills Camp (full band) at Riverside CC
Midwest Skills Camp (full band) at U-Minnesota

The System Blue Live Events have reached to students and directors from over 60 high schools across a dozen states, where the students and directors have had hands on experience with Pearl Drums.

The inaugural season of creating a full-range of comprehensive educational events has been a success, especially in regards to student and band director feed-back. The most recent event - and most ambitious - was at the University of Minnesota just last week, where 112 students from 17 midwest high schools attended a 4-day camp that included sessions with drum corps greats such as Wayne Downey, Scott Johnson, Jeff Fiedler, Todd Ryan and Van Mathews, to name a few. The students interacted and performed with the Blue Devils and Santa Clara Vanguard, and concluded their camp with great tickets to the DCI Minnesota event. Sadly, that show rained out.

On tap, there are 3 remaining 1-day "Show Day with the Blue Devils" clinics (MS, TN and NY). As well, System Blue Live Events is part of the Blue Devils Fall Audition Series, to be held at various dates and locations across the country this fall. Make sure you do not miss out on the System Blue Show Day to be held in Murfreesboro, TN at the 2010 Pearl Presents the Masters of the Summer Music Games DCI Show!!!
