Lalo Davila

With extensive experience in countless musical settings, Lalo Davila is the complete percussionist. Originally from Corpus Christi, TX, Lalo spent three years ('84-'86) as a performer and instructor of the P.A.S. Championship University of North Texas Drumline. He has served as drum instructor for the Phantom Regiment and Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps, and performed with the Corpus Christi Symphony, the Nashville Symphony, Vickie Carr, and the Panhandlers Steel Drum Band among others.

As an educator, he has conducted clinics throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Japan. Lalo is currently Asst. Professor of Music and Director of Percussion at Middle Tennessee State University and performs regularly with some of the hottest salsa bands in the country.
