Recently, Pearl Drums had the opportunity to talk with
David Agoglia of Rev Theory. Being given this great opportunity to dive into the mind of one of the hottest acts of today, Pearl took the initiative by asking the truly important questions touching on the most important topics of our current time period…this is how David responded…
Pearl: Blond or Brunette?
Both
Pearl: Most embarrassing moment on tour?
Before a show I got locked inside our bus for 10 minutes because the lock was busted. They finally realized that I wasn't there and they got me about 1 minute before our show.
Pearl: Who would win in a fight, ketchup or mustard?
Ketchup would kill mustard
Pearl: What is your favorite board game?
Monopoly
Pearl: What is your home town?
Brockton, Massachusetts
Pearl: What super power would you most like to have?
I would love to be able to fly
Pearl: What is a typical day on the road like?
Wake up, eat breakfast, practice, do soundcheck, maybe go to the gym, warm up, play the show, eat dinner, and just hang out until we leave.
Pearl: Do you ever take pick up gigs for fun in a bar?
We have played some smaller bar shows which is always a good time.
Pearl: What is your favorite brand of beer?
Miller Lite
Pearl: What is your favorite movie?
Shawshank Redemption
Pearl: What book did you last read?
I read Twilight just to see what all the fuss was about. Then I watched the movie. The book was better, but that's not saying much.
Pearl: If you were to form your own super group, who would play what?
Dave Groehl on drums, Slash on lead guitar, James Hettfield on rhythm guitar, Sting on bass, and Chris Cornell on vocals
Pearl: What’s the last thing you do before taking the stage?
Huddle up with the guys
Pearl: What band lit the spark that made you want to play music?
Guns N' Roses
Pearl: Do you have a nickname?
The guys call me Switzerland because every time there is a disagreement I always seem to agree with both sides.
Pearl: If you could go back in time and see any concert, what would it be?
Woodstock
Pearl: You can choose 3 bands to see at one concert. Who are they? Who opens, middle slot, headlines?
Guns N' Roses opens, The Beatles are in the middle, and Zeppelin headlines.
Pearl: Is the life of a professional musician everything you'd thought it would be?
No, it's much better!
