Pearl's Session Custom (SRX), features 100% maple shells for fantastic low end punch, great upper-mids and amazing tonal presence. Value-priced, the SRX shares many features of the Masters Series including superior quality lacquered finishes, OptiMount suspension system, and SP-30 telescoping bass drum spurs.

The SRX-1455S (14"x5.5") 6 ply 100% all maple snare offers professional componentry including SuperHoop II, CL-55 with brass swivel nut receivers, SR-017 vertical pull strainer, and S-022N snares, creating a sound that completes and unifies the overall tone of the entire kit. The perfectly matched SRX-1455S is standard equipment with all prepackaged sets and shell packs.

SRX components all feature low-mass designed lugs and NEW Masterworks-style rubber gaskets for enhanced unrestricted shell vibration providing even full-bodied tone. All mounted toms come equipped with our OptiMount suspension tom mounting system that removes the hardware from the shell for increased resonance and sustain. Floor toms feature the R-40 "Air Suspension" rubber tips on all legs that act to "float" the drum to dramatically lengthen sustain for unrestricted bottom-end response. The SRX toms, floor toms, and snare drums also feature SuperHoop II rims for accurate precise tuning and open tonal clarity.

The ProTone drum heads on the SRX offer wide spectrum tone with unsurpassed durability. Bass drum heads are outfitted with an EQ ring for "out of the box" ready to play tone. Toms and floor toms feature our 2-ply batter head for deep rich sound. The Protone coated snare head has just the right balance of attack and tone for all dynamic levels.

SRX is available in shell packs and complete prepackaged sets that include the H-855 direct-drive hi-hat; S-885W Dual Uni-Lock snare stand; B-855W and C-855W double braced stands with Uni-Lock (infinitely adjustable) tilters; and the P-101P PowerShifter.
