Export Select is now standard equipped with Pearl's BC-800W, the most versatile
piece of hardware you'll ever use. This stand quickly changes between a boom
stand to a straight cymbal stand to provide maximum versatility. The C-800W cymbal
stand is still included and the prices of pre-packaged kits are unchanged from
2001!
Improved P-100 Pedal
The 2002 P-100 pedal now features an infinitely adjustable beater angle adjustment
that allows you to choose the perfect beater angle for speed and power.
Export Lug Design
The Export Select features split low-mass lugs: RL-10 (toms) and
RL-20 (bass drums) and NEW Masterworks-style rubber gaskets for
enhanced resonance and sustain for an unbelievable tone and superb

Compression Shells
The Export Select shells are formed using Pearl's exclusive
Heat Compression Shell Molding System, the same process used
on all
Pearl drums from entry-level to our top-of-the-line Masterworks
drums. Pearl's proprietary overlapping seams are gapless and
allow the shells to vibrate uniformly, unencumbered by air
pockets like
some others. This process is the most exacting on the market
today and is responsible for Pearl's exceptional clarity
and purity of
sound.

The ELX-1455S (14"x5.5") matching wood snare drum
features eight CL-50 lugs, 1.6mm hoops for ear splitting rimshots,
and our
SR-014N vertical pull strainer for sensitive snare response.

Tom Mounts
All Export Select mounted toms feature Pearl's patented Integrated
Suspension system tom mounts for incredible sustain and full
bodied tone. Our I.S.S. tom mounting system removes all mounting
brackets
from the shell thus allowing the drums to vibrate freely
for incredible resonance and sustain.

Tom Holders
Export Select's TH-88I tom arms feature a 100% slip proof
gear tilting adjustment, memory locks for ease of set up,
a shorter
upper extension tube to accommodate the I.S.S., and a greater
range of angling possibilities for perfect tom placement.

All Export Select bass drums are outfitted with Pearl's
exclusive ProTone heads with built-in Perimeter EQ rings
for an awesome
sound straight out-of-the-box. The single-ply clear tom
batters are made
