The NAMM show for 2002 was held in Anaheim, California, at the Anaheim Convention Center. NAMM is the "Show of Shows" in the music manufacturing business and is the place where all the buzz about products is created. All music manufacturers show off their wares, and debut new products to Musical Instrument retailers from around the world.

The NAMM show is held every year in California, and this year it was held January 18th through the 21st.

Pearl introduced tons of new and exciting gear this year at NAMM and here is your chance to get a sneak peek at the most innovative drum products available way before they hit your local dealer.

As you can see, Pearl Percussion 2002’s lineup is HUGE. From
new innovations in products, to bold new colors in our existing
line. Take a quick tour of what we have to offer the modern
Percussionist.

Pearl’s revolutionary Fiber Claves are tonally consistent, impervious to the elements and are virtually indestructible.

Wow! That guy is a giant! No wait a minute, it’s Pearl Percussion’s new Mini’s. Completely tunable and highly playable, these lil guys are made to go anywhere. They’re also great for little hands just getting started in the exciting world of Percussion.

Primero Bongos are available in #602 Bistre Black and #610 Deco Blue. The Bongos share many of the same features as the Elite Series but with a gel-coated Fiberglass shell that is road-ready tough and provides projection and power like you would not believe.

The latest in Percussion color, Raspberry Fizz. A beautiful hi-gloss lacquer finish with a Pearlescent sparkle that looks absolutely breathtaking under stage lights.

The new tambourine with Quick mount is off in seconds to allow hand playing instantly.

The all-new heavy-duty Bala Series of Cowbells from Pearl
Percussion. Traditional “Campana Sound” and looks great too.
Available in a Handheld model (above) and a Mounted model (below).

Pearl Percussion’s Glen Caruba with Award-winning inventor and
Percussionist, Bart Fermie demonstrate the Fiber Guiro making its NAMM debut. Also the Raspberry Fizz Congas and matching
Bongos are new for 2002.

You would be smiling too if you had your hands on this new Elite Timbale. These 7.5" extra deep Timbales sound incredible and are available in 13",14" and 15" sizes so that you can choose your optimal setup. And they mount effortlessly with our QRS Multi-stand.

The new Vibra Bells are dual Ago-go-like Cowbells, also equipped with an internal striker and connected by a flexible U-shaped shaft that forms a handle. When struck, the exclusive sound and lasting sustain are amazing. Hand not included.

Pearl’s new Windchimes. A sweep of the hand fills the room with a transcendental wash of sound. These chimes provide a male and female connection on opposing ends allowing them to be attached or “stacked”in sets of two or even three. Available in your choice of Aluminum or Gold finish and includes a striker.

Pearl's new Tambourine makes a versatile addition to any drummer's effects array. With its quick release mount, it can be easily mounted on virtually any hardware, and the Tambourine can quickly release for hand playing. The new Tambourine also has an edge protector for playing it with sticks.

The all new Fiber Timbales offer explosive attack and great projection, and with tension rods and solid steel hoops, tuning is consistent and reliable. Available in #602 Bistre Black (shown above) and #610 Deco Blue. Primero Timbales come complete with a tilting stand, a 5" Cowbell, and a pair of Timbale sticks.
