The kit was specifically made and played on stage by Tico Torres of Bon Jovi for the Olympics closing ceremonies. This set is from Pearl's renowned Masters Custom MRX line, featuring patented HC/SMS formed 6ply, 7.5mm aged Maple shells, low mass minimum contact lugs, Master Cast die-cast hoops, OptiMount Suspension System tom mounts, and a completely custom high gloss lacquer finish that is a true work of art, hand painted by master drum artist Johnny Douglas especially for the event.
  
The kit was created in sizes preferred by Tico and Bon Jovi for live performance, including two 18"x22" Bass Drums, three toms, 10"x10", 11"x12", 12"x13", two Floor Toms, 16"x16" and 16"x18", and a one of a kind, Free Floating System, mill finish Aluminum UltraCast Snare Drum.
